Vintage Baby Brother Sewing Machine
Wonderful find: this 1950s Baby Brother sewing machine. This is the battery-operated version, but it can also be operated with a hand crank. There is a lever to engage the motor to the crank wheel
It uses a single thread and produces a chain-stitch sewing pattern. These machines were made in Japan during the post-WWII era between the late 1940s and the 1950s.
Circa: 1950s
Measures: 8½” x 4” x 7” tall.
Condition: Very clean and sews wonderfully. Has a couple of paint chips, as shown. Missing the bottom panel that holds the batteries in place. Batteries not included.
