Antique 4.5 x 16 Brass Steam Ship Whistle / Air Horn
Wonderful find: this larger Brass Ship Steam Whistle measures 4½” in diameter and 16” tall. Weighs almost 15 pounds. This is untested, though there is no reason it shouldn't work; we just don't have a steam engine or air compressor large enough to test it.
Was told it came from Duluth, Minnesota.
Circa, 1890-1910s
Marked: unable to make out the manufacturer's name.
Measures: 4½” diameter, 16” tall. Weighs almost 15 pounds.
Condition: brass housing has minor scuffs; base has dents and dings. Untested.
