Antique 1890s Lady Washington Sewing Machine, Hand Crank
Wonderful find in amazing condition: this 1890s Lady Washington hand-crank sewing machine. Manufactured by The New Home Sewing Machine Company of Orange, Massachusetts. Dating New Home sewing machines is difficult, as the company's information was not preserved.
We believe this is an earlier model of the Lady Washington machine, only marked with the serial number 2995916.
The machine has been thoroughly cleaned and tested; it sews wonderfully. Made of cast iron, weighs nearly 24 pounds.
Circa: 1890s
Marked: Lady Washington
Measures: 18” x 9” x 11½” tall. Weighs nearly 24 pounds
Condition: Very nice with paint chips and crackling paint.
Please see all the pictures, as they are part of the description.
