These are called slider bottle openers made in the 1930s just after the Prohibition Era this one has a wonderful advertisement for the “The Original Old German Beer” the German Brewing Co. Cumberland, MD.
Made from brass sheath with steel slide out opener
Measures 2 ½” Long

Marked: The Original Old German Beer, Patent Pending
Condition is fair, some wear on the silver paint
