We have for sale an Antique 1900s Edwin Walker Stag Horn Corkscrew with Sterling Silver Cap
This is a Victorian Era Stag Horn corkscrew with an Edwin Walker Bell, the silver cap on the stag handle end is marked STERLING. The cap lifter is Nickel plated steel with a very sharp bladed worm (screw).
Circa; 1900
Marked; STERLING
Condition; very good with minor wear consistent with age and use.
Measures; 6“ long, 5” wide at handle
History;
This is called a Edwin Walker Corkscrew because of the bell just above the corkscrew it was designed and patented by Walker Erie, PA patent was granted Apr. 17, 1900, US Patent # 647,775. Also known as a self-pull corkscrew.
