Charming vintage dovetailed oak hinged recipe box is full of recipes. Has several dates in June 1931 stamped on the inside of the top but the age is unknown. The front badge is marked Imperial Methods Co Forest Park, ILL.
We found this wonderful recipe box in Minneapolis Minnesota.
The post office started using 2 letter state abbreviations in 1963 so it is presumed to be 1950s or early 1960s. The recipes are a mixture of clippings and handwritten cards.
Good vintage condition with wear consistent with age. Minor scuffs in finish on wood box.
