This is a wonderful Guys Dropper carbide mining headlamp in good clean condition with great patina.
Heyday of this type of light was from the turn of the century to the 1920’s.
Marked on bottom Made in the USA, Universal lamp Company, Springfield ILL.
These were used in the coal mines for years, they are designed to hang on the front of a miners hat.

Measures; 4" tall, reflector is 2.5" across
Condition; vintage has scuffs, scratches, minor corrosion, dents, original condition untested sold as is.
