We have for sale a Vintage Cribari Wines Advertising Corkscrew, B. Cribari & Sons New York.
This is a great corkscrew with square handle and bladed worm (screw) the advertisement on the wood handle is for the Cribari & Sons Winery New York, the winery is still in operation in Fresno, California under the name CRIBARI VINEYARDS INC

Marked; Cribari, B. Cribari & Sons New York.
Measures; 5.25” long, 3.625” wide at handle
Condition; Good for age, wear on graphics, surface rust on metal please see pictures.

History:
The bottle cap wasn’t invented until the 1892 by the Crown Cork Co. Baltimore. Before the cap was introduced most all bottles had corks including beer bottles. The bottle cap was not widely used until into the 20th Century.
