We have for sale a Vintage Pair of Mid-Century Modern Folding Lorgnettes Magnifying Cat Eye Opera Glasses
These wonderful vintage folding lorgnettes magnifying opera glasses are high gloss black Lucite cat eyes from the 1950's or 1960s. They are hinged in the center to fold and swing into the arm (or handle) which doubles as a protective case.

Lorgnettes are otherwise known as opera or reading glasses. Used to more easily read the event program, they are stylish yet discrete reading glasses. They fit easily into a small evening bag and of course could always be on hand in your day-to-day handbag or briefcase. There is a little loop at the end of the arm where you can attach a chain or silk cord and wear them around your neck, if desired.
