Antique set of Brass Sleigh Bells, Rump Strap Bells

We have for sale an Antique set of Brass Sleigh Bells
Amazing set of large Sleigh Bells these are known as Rump Strap or Hip Bells this set of five large bells has a wonderful classic sound. The bells are attached to the original leather strap on the back side of the strap there is a steel band that runs through the bells and is riveted onto the leather with copper rivets at each end. The center bell measures 3” diameter and the four outer bells measure 2.5” diameter. The set is in fantastic condition and as found in southwestern Minnesota.

Era; 1880s
Size; 3” and 2.5” diameter
Condition; very solid condition no breaks or cracks with wonderful patina
