We have for sale a Vintage English Picnic Corkscrew.
Wonderful English picnic corkscrew with hinged cap lifter designed by W.A. Willetts in 1927 patent# Rd 731702.
The metal sheath has two cuts at the opening end to allowing the sheath to expand and snap onto the frame some collectors once thought this was an after though in the design, but it is show in the patent.
Advertising on the sheath is for John F. Burrows & Co. Bermuda’s Leading Wine Merchants. The hinged cap lifter is stamped with the patent # Rd 731702.

Condition; Very good condition with light wear and tarnish
