We have for sale a Vintage Large Depression Era Light Green Ribbed Canister Cookie Jar originally used in Hoosier Cabinets.
Exceptional large vintage depression era light green ribbed canister jar originally used in Hoosier cabinets.
The ribbing is on all 4 sides with one of the sides having a 1”x3” slanted smooth area where a contents label can be attached.
Color is the highly desirable and less common Vaseline or Uranium Green color.
Jar is in excellent vintage condition with no cracks or chips.
Very small air bubbles in glass consistent with manufacturing methods of the times. Bottom ring shows very slight wear from use.
Lid has some minor dents and is discolored and missing some paint. Threads on and off jar easily and fits tight.
EXCELLENT jar for cookies, candy, dried fruits, nuts, etc. Great for your pantry or kitchen counter. Also could be used as a vase or by itself as a lovely shelf decoration.
