We have for sale a beautiful vintage fine bone china tea cup and saucer made by Royal Vale in England.
The charming violet floral design is in lovely shades of purple and green. The set is enhanced with delicate gold gilding on the rims, cup footing and handle. The footed tea cup has a unique shape that sets it apart from other tea cup and saucer sets.
The birth flower for February the Violet. Violets have been around for centuries and were first cultivated by the Greeks around 500 BC and are named for their blue-purple color. Today there are almost 500 species of violets that belong to the genus Viola.

It is in a very good vintage condition with no chips, cracks or paint wear. Gold gilding is in very good condition. Please see all photographs as they are part of the description.

It would make a wonderful gift for the discriminating tea drinker especially with a February birthday!

Measures: saucer is 5 ½” in diameter; tea cup is 3 ¼” in diameter and 2 ¾” high.
