We have for sale a Vintage Nichols Model 38 Stallion Cap Gun
Wonderful piece of 1950s Americana, this Nichols Model 38 Stallion Cap Gun made by the Nichols Industries Inc of Jacksonville Texas. This is a very realistic looking toy gun, it is made of nickel-plated diecast metal with white plastic handle with staghorn design. The gun is a six-shot revolver with fully functional revolving chamber. Pull the trigger and the hammer moves back and releases onto the chamber very realistic. This is a very early version made without the orange barrel tip indicating it is a toy gun. We are also including a copy of an original 1951 magazine ad displaying the Nichols Model 38 Stallion Cap Gun. **Spurs not included in sale.
History:
In 1951, Nichols introduced the Stallion 38. This gun is a slightly smaller size of the Stallion 45 and has the smaller versions of the 2-piece bullets. These bullets were made by Remington. With a cap in the bullet, when the gun was fired, since the die-cast bullet had a channel through it, the smoke would come out of the front of the gun. Very realistic.

Measures; overall length is 9 ½” long.
Condition: Very good vintage condition, please see all pictures. Light scuffs and scratches, light platting lose. Does Not contain caps or bullets.
