We have for sale an Antique Pair of Robinson Ransbottom One Quart Stoneware Crocks.
Wonderful Pair of matching green spongeware crocks made by the Robinson Ransbottom. These two beautiful crocks are marked on the base (Robinson Ransbottom, Roseville Ohio U.S.A., Low Jar -1qt). The color is cream with green sponge design.
The condition is amazing with no chips or cracks; they are perfect for using as serving dishes or as home décor pieces.
These are original Robinson Ransbottom crocks beware of fakes usually marked with model numbers.

History:
Frank Ransbottom and his brother started Robinson Ransbottom in 1900 located in Roseville, Ohio. By 1916 Ransbottom was the largest producer of stoneware jars in America. Sometime around 1920 Ransbottom merged with Robinson Clay Products which created bricks and tiles, and the name was changed to RRP Company, reflecting Robinson Ransbottom Pottery.

Circa: 1900-1920
Each Measures; 6 ½” diameter at base, 4 ¼” height
Condition: Vintage with lots of patina, has glazing flaws as shown in pictures.
