We have for sale a Vintage German Brass Figural Cat Corkscrew with Glass Eyes
Wonderful example of a 1950-60s Usbeck & Sons design Corkscrew. Made in Monopol factory West Germany. Known as a rollover style corkscrew, this scaredy cat is made of solid brass with green glass eyes. To use swivel the center piece in the handle over the screw and twist clockwise to penetrate cork then swivel the center piece back and screw the handle down the screw until it touched the cats back than keep turning until the cork pulls from the bottle.
Circa; 1950-60s
Marked; unmarked
Measures; 5.5” tall, 3.5” wide head to tail.
Condition; Very good condition with very minor paint loss.
