We have for sale an Antique 1830s Eyeglasses with Pin-in-Slot Telescopic Loop Slide or Jack Downing
Wonderful find these 1830s reading glasses. These are known as Narrow Loop Slide or Jack Downing glasses. The temples are Pin-in-Slot Telescopic, meaning they slide in and out. They are made of brass which has a dark patina the glass lens is a prescription and do have scratches. These are very old and do show light wear.

Measures; hinge to hinge 4 ½” , bridge 1 ¼” , lens 1 ¼” wide x 1” tall
