We have for sale a Pure Badger shaving Brush with Purple Glass Shaving Cup.
Wonderful find this antique shaving cup and brush. The brush is made by Ever-Ready USA. It is made of rubber and plastic handle with badger fur bristles. The cup is made of purple glass which has naturally turned purple with bubble in the glass.

*** Purple glass, some glass items made from the mid 1800 till the turn of the century contained manganese dioxide (pyrolusite) which made the glass clear, however if the glass was exposed to the rays of the sun or to other ultra-violet sources it would cause a chemical reaction in the glass making it turn purple.

Circa; 1920s
Marked; Ever-Ready USA, Pure Badger
Measurements; brush= 4” long, 1 ½” diameter. Cup= 2 ½” tall, 2 7/8” diameter at rim.
Condition; good used condition, brush is very good and the cup has a couple spots on edge where the bubbles in the glass were too close to edge and left it a little rough please see all pictures.
