We have for sale an Antique Whyte & Mackay’s Special Scotch Corkscrew Advertisement Corkscrew.
Wonderful pocket style corkscrew with the advertisement imprinted into both sides of the sheath. This a very collectible style of corkscrew, what makes this little corkscrew so special is the worm (corkscrew) it is known as a Speedworm designed to cut through the cork faster and hold better. The sheath has two ¾” cuts at the open end to allow it to securely snap over the shank of the corkscrew when stored. This is a wonderful collectible corkscrew and will make a fabulous addition to your collection.
This style corkscrew was invented by Francis John Russell in 1921 and has a British patent #13644/21
