Wonderful 1920s English corkscrew made by Crofts & Assinder of England. The corkscrew handle is made of solid brass with the bust of the Gloucester Cathedral it is marked on the backside C & A (Crofts & Assinder) with registration # 67525. The blade is made of steel and is known as a bladed worm designed to cut through the cork with ease.
Circa, 1920s
Measures, 7” long, 1 ¾” wide at handle.
Marked, C & A 67525
Condition, very good with normal wear.
