We have for sale a Vintage 1930s Prohibition Era Demley’s Old Snifter Corkscrew and Bottle Opener.
Wonderful Prohibition Era Barware. This is Demley’s OLD SNIFTER made in remembrance of Andrew Volstead, Volstead is sometimes called the "Father of Prohibition.
Demley’s OLD SNIFTER came in three finishes a polished chrome, bronze finish and a silver-plated finish. The corkscrew pops out the backside of his trench coat, his nose and chin form a bottle opener and his top hat is removable, not really sure why maybe to store toothpicks? Has the original felt on the bottom.

History:
Andrew Volstead (1859-1947) was a Republican member of the United States Congress from 1902-1922. Volstead is sometimes called the "Father of Prohibition”

Marked; OLD SNIFTER
Manufactured by Heller of Chicago
Condition; very good with only minor scuffs and scratches and pitting in chrome finish, black hat has some paint loss.
