Antique 1890 Holborn Style Champagne Tap, Soda Tap,
This is an 1890s version of a Holborn Type Champagne Tap Made in England. A variation of Holborn champagne tap with an ebony wood handle & brass finger pull & tap mechanism.
From days gone by the Champagne Tap is designed to save the carbonation in the bottle of Champagne and Soda’s.
Wolverson’s Patent,
This style Champagne tap was patented by Edwin Wolverson, in 1890. To use simply screw the hollow Archimedean worm through the cork allowing the porthole at the base of the worm to clear the bottom-side of the cork. Invert the bottle and turn the valve handle to pour the champagne.
