1940s Marshall S. Neal’s Patented Barware Tool, Wine Bottle Opener
Wonderful find a 1940s Marshall S. Neal’s Patented Barware Tool. This lovely piece is nickel plated brass with a fold-out steel corkscrew (Web helix version)
the handle serves as a muddler with a bottle opener at the opposite end.
U. S. Design Patent No. 124,223 of December 24, 1940, for a “Bottle Opener” includes a cap lifter and corkscrew

Measures, 5 5/8” long, 2 5/8” wide at opener end
Condition, very good for age has some light scuffs and scratch.
