We have for sale a Pair of WWII Mountain Spikes / Ice Cleats
Wonderful pair of original mountain ice cleats made for the US Military during WWII. These are extremely aggressive with each steel spike measuring 2” long, the steel base is hinged in the middle which allows your foot to flex and bend as you walk, they are equipped with the original leather bindings. Each is marked U.S. and measure 12” long and 5” wide. The leather binding were originally polished white, you can still see some of the white polish remaining.
These will make a wonderful addition to a collection or as décor for the lodge or cabin.
Circa, 1930-40s
Measures, 12 ½” x 5 ¾” x 4 ½” tall
Condition: Very solid and sturdy, leather is old but solid. Please see all pictures.
