We have for sale an Antique 1890s Advertisement Corkscrew, The Detrick Distilling Co. Dayton Ohio
This is a very neat little corkscrew it is an advertisement for whiskey
and the wood sheath has a drawing is of 2 monkeys trying to cut the tail off a cat.
The corkscrew itself was invented and made by William Rockwell Clough in 1875, The wood sheath removes and is placed through the loop of the corkscrew to use as a handle.
The condition of this is wonderful with clear vivid graphics, it was most likely never used. The sheath fits very tightly on the corkscrew.
