Antique French Store Display with Corkscrews, Wine Bottle Openers, Winery Decor
We have for sale an Antique French Bone Handle Corkscrew
Wonderful find this early 1900s French retail store merchandise board with corkscrews. These lovely bovine bone handle corkscrews attached to the board with elastic string tied on the backside of the board. Each corkscrew has a bone handle holding a steel helix worm with brass fasteners. These are known as a mid-sized corkscrews due to their overall size. A mid-sized corkscrew is between 3” to 4.5” in length and width of 2” to 3”.
Fabrication Fracaise, Qualite Superieure.
Translates- French manufacturing, Superior Quality.
Circa, 1920-30
Measures, Corkscrews 3 ¼” long, 2” wide at handle.
Board 10 x 7 ¾”
Marked, Paul Vallier, IMP., Clemont-FD-Paris
Condition, Original as found, finish on corkscrews have light rust and cardboard shows dirt spots.
