Vintage Woven Rattan and Gingham Trimmed Royal Blue Sewing Basket with Organizer Insert

We have for sale an Absolutely Charming Vintage Sewing Basket Box. The royal blue and white gingham fabric and trim embodies nostalgia, vintage style and ‘the good old days’. It has flourished in the sewing world since the mid 1700s! The unusual 2-sided hinged box is in good vintage condition with no tears in the fabric or trim. There is some discoloration on the interior trim. Lid halves are lined with bright blue satin pin cushions studded with pearl-like buttons. Hinges are intact. Fitted plastic organizer tray is intact. Would be a great gift for your favorite seamstress or to add to your own vintage sewing collection.
