We have for sale an Antique Apothecary Cork Borer Set and Sharpening Tool.
Wonderful set of antique cork borers numbers 2 thru 15. These are used in Laboratories, Pharmacies and Chemistry rooms to bore holes in corks and rubber stoppers. The sharpening tool is very unique, you place the tapered brass end into the borer and hold tightly and with your thumb press the blade against the outer cutting edge of the borer then rotate the borer to sharpen the outer edge.
The borers are graduated every 1/16”, the smallest will cut a ¼” hole and the largest cut a 15/16” hole.

Measures, 8 ¾” long, 3” wide, 2 ¾” tall
Condition, Used, all borers have different degrees of used and wear #4 is shorter. Please see all pictures.
