Vintage Knud Knudsen’s Picnic Style Corkscrew and Bottle Opener.
Wonderful find this American patented corkscrew made by Knud Knudsen, Patented June 27, 1939 U.S. Patent Number 2,164,191.
The corkscrew and ribbed sheath are both made of metal the black painted ends of the sheath came in different colors, known are red, mint green. The special “S” designed head of the corkscrew is also a bottle opener at the lower part of the “S” the sheath slides into the upper part of the “S” creating a handle for the corkscrew. Highly Collectible Corkscrew.

Condition, As found, plating lose and light surface rust.
