We have for sale an Antique 1880s English Corkscrew, The Victor.
Wonderful find this 1880s English corkscrew (The Victor) believed to be designed influenced by Georg Twigg’s 1867 patented corkscrew.
The corkscrew has a fixed fly nut at the top of the shaft which is turned clockwise to screw into the cork once seated into the cork turn the second handle clockwise to lift the cork from the bottle.
This is a very sought after corkscrew for collectors.
Circa, 1880s
Measures, 6 ¾” tall, 3” wide at handle.
Marked, The Victor
Condition, good for age. Please see all pictures.
