We have for sale a Vintage 1940s German Casige Childs Learning Size Sewing Machine
This is a wonderful Casige sewing machine with a beautiful teal color. It is marked, Casige Made in Germany "British Zone" on the sew plate, which dates it as just after WWII. This is the Little Modiste series. Condition is very good, a wonderful collector piece.
These size machines are not toys they were designed for children to learn how to sew, perfect size for making doll clothes.
Circa; 1945-50
Marked; CASIGE Made in Germany British Zone.
Measures: 8.625” wide, 5” deep, 6.75” tall
Condition is very good, with minor scuffs and scratches, does have the needle, missing thread tensioner screw. Untested. (PLEASE zoom into all pictures).
